millionreasonsI am celebrating Valentine's day on six hours sleep and a hangover. Not from some licencentious behaviour involving hard liquor but by winning the popquiz at the Rosemary Branch yesterday. Rob found a £10 token from 2004 and after some mild flirting with the admittedly attractive barmen, it was accepted as legal tender. Our table split into 4 teams and we won the 3rd, 2nd, 1st and wooden spoon prizes and thus had another £35 to spend on drinks (and a bottle of nasty smelling perfume). Unfortunately, I had forgotten that my wussiness precludes a) drinking on a school night and b) drinking anything other than gin.
On the way home, I suggested we go by Bobby Gillespie's house and shout loudly under his window, but the rain made us scuttle back indoors, leaving Mr G un-molested. For now.
