Doing The Lambeth Walk

Last weekend, we did Walk Six, the entirely hidden Neckinger that starts and ends at the Thames: from the Oxo Tower to Shad Thames, past William Blake's house, Pepys's pubs, asylums that are now apartments, parks that once were fields that held riots, into secret gardens, churches that held religious sects that liked nudity and unfulfilled prophecies, to Jacob's Island, now a jumble of warehouses and 1980s flats.
