Interception

We went to see Inception. Apart from too many car chases, explosions, fights, stunts, use of CGI and James Bondian chases through markets in foreign lands, it was pretty satisfying and accomplished. Kind of The Matrix meets Ocean's 11 meets Memento. In a good way. The only problem was that I kept re-casting it in my head:
Mike from Neighbours as Leonardo Di Caprio
Cillian Murphy as Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Jack Davenport as Cillian Murphy
Clive Owen as the gentleman thief
Miles from Lost as the foreign businessman
Morgan Freeman as Michael Caine
A naked Daniel Bruhl as Juno
***
In other news, I've worked out why I seem to be in a permanent bad mood with an air of general irritation - we've been living for 2 months under a Tory government. Only another 4 years and 10 months to go....They claim that they need to make public spending cuts to reduce the deficit, but what about when (if) it's cleared? Will they reinstate everything they've abolished? It seems doubtful.
I'm surprised the Sun hasn't pointed out that when Gordon Brown took over the reins, we had a summer of rain, but the sun always shines under the Conservatives.
