I didn't know this song until Fosca covered it to a mostly uninterested Nottingham crowd a couple of Christmases ago; in fact I didn't know any Joni Mitchell tunes apart from that irritating parking lot song, but the soft melancholia of this struck me. I love the way she incorporates notes from Jingle Bells into the coda.
